PRODUCTION MANAGER

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL, TECHNICAL AND EXPERIENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 or equivalent Technical certificate, and Tertiary Production related qualification
- Tertiary Trade qualification will be advantageous
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Workshop and/or Production Management, preferably in the Construction sector – Construction industry knowledge is required
- Responsible for full Production Planning function and management of all facets of the Workshop
- Stock management and Procurement experience essential
- Competence in IT systems: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Ability to understand, interpret, implement and delegate technical instructions
- Ability to perform basic electrical applications and to work with hand tools and power tools
- Technical fault finding and solution application
- Welding experience: Tig, Arc, CO2, and Spot welding
- Risk assessment qualification and good knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation
- Ability to develop, implement and maintain production systems
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines. Valid SA driver’s licence with own transport
